Poso City,- FOR THE First time the house on stilts located in the Sayo Village, Poso District, the southern city that enlivened visitors. No half-hearted-a tiny building called 'Rumah Cerdas', visited by the Regent of Poso, Darmin Agustinus Sigilipu.
Not only that, Rumah Cerdas which is now managed by the Library and Filing Service, yesterday morning held a competition with theme, 'Improving The Quality of Nation’s Next Generation through Reading Culture Towards Poso as Intelligent City'.
According to the Head of the Library and Filing Service, Dr. Wangintowe Tundugi, the activities undertaken from 10 to 12 August 2017, besides intended to cultivate the spirit of competition for children, are also expected to instill the national values for the students as a form of love towards The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). "With this activity, we hope the children could love the country more while preparing to fill the independence in the future", said the Head of Library and Filing.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Poso, Darmin Agustinus Sigilipu, conveyed a sense of pride, witnessing the spirit of the children to join the competition. The number-one person in Poso District hopes that the relevant office, in order for the competition to care for children's love to the nation and state, can be implemented with different methods in the future. "At least once a year such activities can be implemented", said the Regent Darmin, while greeting the contest participants.
After giving a speech, the Regent was accompanied by Head of Library, pleased to greet the children, intend to encourage the children. Known, the activities that have been done since yesterday consisted of, coloring contest for Kindergarten level, memorizing Pancasila and Preamble to the 1945 Constitution for elementary level, Reading Poetry for Junior High School and Solo Singing as well as Choir of struggle songs for Senior High School/Vocational School Level. **
