DOZENS of residents, or protestors from Sigi Regency in the name of the People Guards of Sigi Development Alliance requested the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) in the district urging the Regent to put Iskandar Nontji down from his current position as a Head of Sigi Public Works Department.
Said demonstrators, Iskandar Nontji known entwined allegedly on construction project of Sadaunta-Lindu road corruption case with Fiscal Year 2015 worth Rp 7,708 billion through 2015 Local Government Budget (APBD). In addition to allegations of corruption- Sadaunta-Lindu road construction, Iskandar Nontji is also suspected of the same practice on Peana-Kalamanta road construction project worth Rp 20,348 billion.
In their speech, mass of people asked Head of Regional House of Representatives in Sigi to urge the regent putting Iskandar Nontji down from office, as judged that hurted and retarded the government in developing regions.
The urge was also spread in the workspace of Sigi Regional House of Representatives Chairman when legislators dialogue with a number of representatives of protesters who led by the Chairman of Sigi Regional House of Representatives, Rizal Intjenai.
Field Coordinator, Taufik argues, the case of alleged corruption- Sadaunta-Lindu road construction started from the findings of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative of Central Celebes. Thus, Supreme Audit Regency (BPK) found indications of state losses arising from the case estimated at Rp 9,408 billion.
On the findings, the High Court of Central Celebes conducted an investigation and found some strong evidences increased the status of the investigation into full investigation.
"Well, the Regional House of Representative as the local government should remind and urge the Regent Irwan Lapatta to immediately disable Iskandar Nontji as a Head of Sigi Public Works Department," said Taufik, Monday (27/2).
Along the dialogue, if the Regional House of Representatives do not accommodate the delivered aspirations, the People Guards of Sigi Development Alliance will threaten back to hold a protest action with more people.
In the demonstration, named after the action of 272 protesters called for four claim such as law enforcement officers in this case the Central Sulawesi High Court, continue to process cases of alleged loss to the state on a road construction project in the Sigi Department of Public Works till set suspected. Then, thoroughly investigate allegations of collusion between the partners as service providers and Regional Work Unit (SKPD) parties as service users. Then, the Regent and Vice Regent immediately evaluate their lineup, to the leader of Regional Work Unit who indicated corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN) to be reconsidered to occupy the position. Then, lastly immediately gave warnings and orders at the same time to Regional Work Unit leaders who always kept a name Regent. Meanwhile, Chairman of Sigi Regional House of Representatives, Mohammad Rizal Intjenai said, the Regional House of Representatives as an institution has sent a letter to the local government to follow up the findings of the Supreme Audit Regency (BPK). "Earlier, we had sent a letter to the District Government in order to follow up the findings of Supreme Audit Regency of Central Celebes," said Rizal.
Golkar politician states, it continues to oversee development in Sigi. In fact, he also supported the demands and insistence, voiced protesters to Regional House of Representatives and Sigi Government District.
